  • Fine tune Your Clinical Precision

  • Increase Your Confidence

  • Strengthen Your Attunement

Brainspotting as a therapeutic modality is straightforward in its implementation, yet profound in depth. Many therapists find that the real learning happens after the training - in creatively adjusting their work to stay attuned to their clients’ needs, tracking both their own and their client’s nervous systems, and trusting the frame and the approach to lean into uncertainty.

Brainspotting consultation offers a supportive, collaborative space to refine your clinical use of Brainspotting while staying aligned with your own therapeutic approach.

Get Started

Brenna McClintock

Brenna learned about Brainspotting from a colleague in 2020, did her phase 1 right away after seeing the transformation it led to for a client, and she hasn’t stopped since.

Between 2020 and today Brenna completed many, many Brainspotting trainings in Canada and internationally (the list is long - you can see it here), stopping only briefly to raise her children. She completed her Consultant training with Brainspotting Canada in June of 2024 and has loved the combination of working as a consultant and a psychotherapist ever since. Teaching has always been an important part of her career and it brings her great joy to incorporate it into her work in private practice.

One of the things Brenna loves most about Brainspotting is its flexibility and adaptability to clients’ needs. She skillfully integrates aspects of other therapies into her Brainspotting work and utilizes Brainspotting concepts as she weaves between approaches to attune to her clients’ needs.

Brenna has nearly a decade of experience in developmental therapy, parenting support, and child, youth and family counselling that have led her to develop a private practice with a family-systems focus in individual trauma therapy with adult clients. She brings a warm, puzzle-piecing approach and a deeply depathologizing lens to understanding complex relational trauma and the impacts of intergenerational trauma and family dynamics in her clients’ lives.

As a consultant, Brenna specializes in supporting and teaching therapists as they navigate the nuances of complex trauma work using Brainspotting, including how relational histories can shape the OCD presentations we see in the therapy room, and how Brainspotting can open space for healing and integration.

All that being said - she’s just as excited to share the Brainspotting love and support new Brainspotting therapists deepen their skills and make their way to being certified.
